The Dodge Charger isn’t complete without some extra bright exterior lights. There are a number of LED upgrades available on the market today. However, most comprise imitations that aren’t built to the manufacturer’s specifications.
They may fail to either fit, work with the car’s electric system or focus the hotspot in line with the beam pattern. Some of them aren’t even built to last very long.
One of the best LED lights that defy all odds is the SL1 LED. It’s a compact light bulb that features flow-stimulated cooling, optically correct brightness, and high reliability.
It’s the ultimate upgrade in terms of quality standards.
When upgrading to LED lights for your vehicle, it’s not uncommon to encounter issues with fit, compatibility with the car’s electrical system, or proper alignment of the beam pattern. Additionally, the durability of some LED lights can be a concern, as not all are designed to withstand the rigors of prolonged use. However, among the myriad of options, the SL1 LED stands out as a superior choice.
Aftermarket Light Bulbs: Upgrade Options
When driving leisurely down the road, it goes without saying that you must be able to clearly see wherever it is you’re going. Clear visibility is an important safety aspect. Sometimes, you may not be able to see clearly due to broken headlights. This could create potential dangers for you and your passengers.
Fortunately, there are plenty of headlight replacement options available in the market today. These span from Dodge Charger HIDs, LEDs, and Xenon headlights. You need to replace your Dodge Charger headlights if any of them starts to dim. It’s advisable that you replace both of them at the same time.
Should you upgrade your headlights to LED?
One of the most popular questions we get asked here at Headlightsize is whether or not customers should upgrade their headlights to LED. It’s a great question and one that doesn’t have a simple answer. In order to help you make the best decision for your own vehicle, we’ve put together a quick guide on the pros and cons of LED headlights.
LED headlights are quickly becoming the new standard in automotive lighting. They are more energy-efficient than traditional halogen bulbs, and they emit a brighter, whiter light that is closer to natural sunlight. This can help improve your visibility on the road, especially in low-light conditions like dusk or dawn.
One of the main benefits of LED headlights is that they last much longer than traditional bulbs. Whereas a halogen bulb may only last for a few thousand hours of use, an LED headlight can last for tens of thousands of hours. This means you won’t have to replace your headlights nearly as often, and it can save you money in the long run.
LED headlights are also much more resistant to vibration than traditional bulbs. This means they are less likely to burn out prematurely if you hit a bump in the road.
The main downside of LED headlights is that they can be very expensive. A high-quality set of LED headlights can cost several hundred dollars, which is significantly more than most people are willing to spend on headlights.
Another downside of LED headlights is that they can be more difficult to install than traditional bulbs. This is because LED bulbs often require special adapters or brackets in order to fit into your vehicle’s headlight housing. If you’re not comfortable with doing your own automotive repairs, then you may want to leave the installation of LED headlights to a professional.
So, should you upgrade your headlights to LED? The answer is that it depends on your individual needs and preferences. If you value long-term durability and improved visibility, then LED headlights may be worth the investment. However, if you’re not willing to spend the extra money on them, then stick with traditional halogen bulbs.
