The Chevy Cruze headlight bulb is an important part of your car’s exterior lighting. This article will tell you what bulbs you need and how to replace the headlights.
There are two bulbs which illuminate the headlights of your Chevy Cruze. One is the low-beam light, and the other is high-beam. The location of these two bulbs within the assembly housing makes them easy to identify. Here’s how it works:
Your vehicle has four lights on each side that shine forward for your nighttime driving conditions. These lights are divided into three categories: parking/city lights (inside a cover), turn signal indicators (below a cover) and headlight beams. The headlight assembly contains both low-beam and high-beam lights.
The low beam light sits closer to the ground, in a single housing (looks like one big bulb). The high beam light sits at the top of the assembly, in its own separate housing (looks like two bulbs).
The overall look on your Chevrolet Cruze can be upgraded using replacement LED bulbs. These can be installed when matching headlights, replacing burnt out standard bulbs or improving the overall style.
The brightness of all LED lighting bulbs is measured in lumens. This ensures that the luminance arrived at is accurate and not harmful to users. Tests are carried out by manufacturers to come up with accurate figures.
When it comes to color, both headlights should match. There shouldn’t be any random shades of colors. The most trusted manufacturers work with an integrating sphere which is a device used to analyze color spectrums and to ensure that LEDs match. This prevents any unwanted tints.
LEDs are often put under test with a device that mimics several years of voltage spikes. This tests how long they can last when the alternator is switched on and off alternatively.
An additional built-in circuit protection is installed to ensure that the LED bulb survives without failure or flickering.
Diode Dynamics is a trusted LED bulb manufacturer that applies the brightest and newest LED technology while manufacturing its lights. It combines performance and high quality standards to ensure that products delivered are reliable and durable.
It has a team of engineers that constantly work to improve the quality of headlights produced.
Having the correct bulb replacement size for your Chevy Cruze will save you a lot of research time. Whether you want to install some HIDs, LEDs, or SMDs, having the right bulb size plays an important role in ensuring that you carry out a flawless process.
One of the many useful resources that provide all the information you need is a Chevrolet
Cruze headlight bulb replacement guide. It allows you to install LED light bulbs, replace broken bulbs, change burnt out light bulbs, and install HID headlight conversion kits.
The information isn’t guaranteed. It should be used cautiously and at owner’s risk. Confirm with other reliable resources such as your vehicle owner’s manual for the right bulb voltage, wattage, and size.
Our comprehensive Cruze headlight bulb replacement guide is designed to assist you in various tasks: installing LED light bulbs for enhanced brightness and efficiency, replacing broken or burnt-out bulbs, and fitting HID headlight conversion kits for superior illumination.
While this guide is detailed and informative, it’s important to note that the information provided is not guaranteed. We advise users to approach these instructions with caution and consider them at their own risk. For the most accurate and vehicle-specific information, it’s crucial to cross-reference our guide with reliable resources, such as your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
The manual will offer definitive details on the correct bulb voltage, wattage, and size that are specifically suited for your Cruze, ensuring not just a successful replacement or upgrade but also the safety and integrity of your vehicle’s electrical system.
Aftermarket Light Bulbs: Upgrade Options
The various lighting upgrades available for the Chevrolet Cruze include twin projector setups and DRLs. These provide great options for bulb upgrades. The single projector headlamps fall short in terms of brightness.
They are, however, cheaper. Only go for bulbs with a color temperature of 4300K and above. These function well under foggy and rainy weather as well as during the night.
For those that do not want to dive too deep into their pockets, the German Philips 90/100s and100/130s, Chinese Philips 100/130s, and Hella 90/100s are perfect substitutes.
